What is Telefonix?
Telefonix is a Voice Over IP telecommunication service that will enable customers to enjoy great call savings without needing to sacrifice call quality. The service is offered to customers with no restriction on the number of lines.
What are the plans that consist to make Telefonix awesome?
There are 4 simple plans and mainly consist of commitment plans. Only the basic plans are pay-per-use option. The higher the commitment plan, the cheaper the rate gets.
How many outgoing lines will the customer get when signing up for Telefonix?
There are no physical limit to the number of outbound lines for all plans offered. However, as a security feature all accounts will be defaulted at 15 lines. Should the customer require more, just highlight this requirement in the Service Order Form. Inbound channels however will be dependent on the plan that the customer subscribes to. Additional DID is at RM3 per DID and RM20 per channel.
Does the customer need to have an internet connection to use this service?
Yes. As this is a VoIP service, the customer will be required to have an active internet connection.
Can the service be offered if the customer is on an ADSL connection?
This is not ideal, however the service can be offered over an ADSL connection. There are some restrictions like the customer can only have 6 concurrent calls going on at the same time. Also, the call quality will may degrade if there are many users using the internet at the same time.
The customers want to use our service, but do not have an internet connection. What do i do?
We can bundle in an internet service to enable the users to use this service. The internet service that is bundled in will also enable the customers to use it for internet usage as well as for Telefonix. As requirements for this can be of a wide range of variety, please contact the solutions team for more information.
Besides internet connectivity, is there any other requirement on the customers end?
Yes. They will need to have an IP enabled PBX or IP Phones to use this service. Should the customer not have such devices, it is still possible to provide the service by deploying equipment at the customers premise. As we need to purchase this equipment, there are 2 options that can be offered. We can either charge them a Monthly Recurring Charge (MRC) that will be included in their bill or they can go with a higher monthly commitment. How does usage discounts work?
Usage based discounts is only applicable for Business, Pro and Pro Plus plans and has 2 tiers – 5% and 10%. The concept of this discount is that the customer will enjoy more savings if their bill hits certain thresholds.
The discount matrix is as follows:-
Discounts are applied based on a cumulative effort. This means that the relative discount is applied to minutes that have only passed the discount threshold. A further example is described below for the purpose of understanding how the discounts are calculated.
Customer subscribes to the ‘Pro’ plan. Their latest monthly bill (without discount) is RM6,200. Here is how the discounts will be calculated:-
The first RM3,250 no discount will be applied
From RM3,251 to RM4,250 a 5% discount is applied
From RM4,251 onwards, a 10% discount is applied
The total discount for the month’s bill will be RM246.85, bringing the monthly bill down to RM5,953.15 Average per minute price is 9.6 sen
Is there any condition for customers to subscribe to this package?
Yes. Minimum subscription must be for a minimum of 12 months.
Is this plans applicable to all customers?
Yes, applicable to new and existing customer for retention basis only.
How are these plans used for retention?
If an existing customer informs about termination or they want a better rate due to competition, the sales team or resellers can engage these customers and propose a plan that is suitable for them based on their profile and requirement.

Can customers request for additional features that are not included in their plan?
Yes, customers will just need to pay the monthly fee to activate the additional features.
Can customers use our service for inbound calls?
Yes. Plans come bundled with DID and incoming channels. Should customer require additional DID or channels the charges are RM3 per additional DID and RM20 per additional channel.
Why is there no limit for outgoing lines but incoming lines there is a limit?
We offer customers a virtual number that ultimately belongs to carriers in Malaysia. These are charges that we are charged and hence we need to charge for the service. Outgoing lines belong to us and do not need to pay any carrier for it, hence we can offer unlimited number of lines.

Can the numbers provided be called from any phone (fix or mobile)?
These numbers are Fully Qualified Dialed Numbers and can be called from any phone not only within the country but internationally as well.
